About 10 minutes down the road, things go dark for Brandon in more ways than one. The boys are involved with a car wreck. When Brandon wakes up in the hospitals critical care unit, he is informed that he has suffered critical injuries, and one that he may never fully recover the complete loss of his vision. But he also had a greater loss, and that is the death of his lifelong friend, Danel.

Trying desperately not to fail his dreams and those of his dead friend, he finally dedicates himself to overcome the tragedy. Yet it seems his guilt anchors him to failure. With the help of friends Brandon finds closure and a mended heart. There is an incredible inspirational story here as he returns to the game he loves, and the dedication to honor his friend by not hoping for a miracle but believing in the possible. |
